Bloom needs some information to build your plan and keep it up to date. This policy says exactly what is stored, why, and how to have it removed. It is written plainly on purpose.
Bloom signs you in anonymously. We do not ask for your name, your email address, your phone number or a password. Your data is linked to a random identifier created on your device, not to you personally.
Your onboarding answers. Whether you use kilograms or pounds, how many days a week you can train, what you want to work on, and the other questions Bloom asks when you start. Bloom needs these to build your plan.
Your training. The plan Bloom generates for you, the sessions you complete, the weights and reps you record, and the exercise swaps and preferences you set. Bloom needs these to decide what you do next week.
How you use the app. Which screens and actions you use, so we can tell which parts of Bloom work and which do not. This is about the app, not about you.
During onboarding Bloom asks when your last period started and your usual gap between periods. These two answers are optional. You can leave them blank and use Bloom normally.
If you answer them, they are stored as part of your profile settings. Bloom is not a period tracker. It does not record individual periods, it does not ask you to log them, and it does not use them for analytics or advertising.
In the current version Bloom stores these answers without changing your training based on them. If that changes in a future version, this page will be updated before the change ships.
We understand this is sensitive information. If you would rather not share it, leave it blank, and if you already answered you can ask us to delete it.
Your data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, which also handles the anonymous sign-in. Supabase stores and processes the data on our behalf and does not use it for its own purposes.
Bloom Premium is sold through the App Store and Google Play. Apple or Google handles your payment, and we never see your card details. We use RevenueCat to check whether your subscription is active. RevenueCat receives your purchase history from Apple or Google and your random Bloom identifier, and processes them on our behalf.
Email gym@rosenpin.io and ask us to delete your data. You do not need to give a reason. Please send the request from the device you use Bloom on, or include your Bloom identifier (the Support ID in the Me tab), so we can find the right records. We will delete them and confirm when it is done.
You can also ask us what is stored about you, or ask us to correct it.
Bloom is not intended for children. It is built for adults training in a gym.
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it. Questions: email gym@rosenpin.io or open an issue on GitHub.
